I'm no whiz when it comes to strings, so maybe somebody can suggest something for me: I'm looking for a 16 gauge string, brand does not matter, that plays similar to Luxilon BB Rough. Catch is, it has to be cheaper than $12.50. Thanks in advance

I would have listed Cyber Whril/Twirl but they are over $12.50. TW does not stock either.

Again the category is BB Rough (shaped poly).

Genesis Typhoon. Plays pretty close to the alu version.

Genesis Spin-X would also fit the bill at $9 a set.

I would go with the solinco tour bite. It is much more reasonably priced and maintains tension better than lux. The tour bite is probably the closest substitute you will find
