I've just started hitting tennis balls.....after over 15 years of not playing...

I'm 42 and grew up playing and played in college etc....

I may be nuts....but it appears to me that tennis balls have gotten smaller since I last played.....

    Is this true????

Racquets have gotten larger and your eyesight has deteriorated this combination produces the illusion of smaller balls

As you age all balls become smaller. Except basketballs. They have gotten larger while the hoop has gotten smaller.

using the same racquet I used 15 years ago...wilson ultra fpk 95....

anyone who has one laying around that they don't use.....let me know, I'd buy it....

I'm sure its my eyes....but it seems as if they are just a tad smaller.....maybe the mgf's saving money like they did with plastic pop bottles which are awful thin......
