Does anyone know if Slazenger (Pro X1) grips are wierd in any way? Something such as shaped wierd like Head grips or being a bit larger than normal such as Babolat Pure Drives? Or is it basically normal like a Wilson grip? Will a 4 1/2 Slaz be the same as a 4 1/2 Wilson?

    Thanks in advance!

it FEELS slightly bigger because of the contour grip that comes on teh racquet, if you change it out it feels like a wison 4 1/2

i used a 4 1/2 wilson adn now i have a 4 1/2 slazenger and they feel pretty darn close.

Yea I'm going to be putting a Leather grip on it when I get it, so I think it should feel pretty similar to the Wilson. We'll see.

When I demo`ed the X1 I noticed it was slighty more rectanguler than normal racquets, similar to Head's shape but not as pronounced.

Leather grip, eh? sounds like an old schooler.

Well I can't stand the feel of a synthetic grip with an overgrip on top (which is what I use) and I love leather under overgrips. That's why I use them.

BTW I'm no old schooler... I'm 15 years old haha.

ambro allow me to shake ur hand

i would suggest the babolat leather (same one i use) good choice to switch it out, then slap on a wilson pro overgrip and you are set!!!

I have some Gamma ones to put on, but I do have two Babolat's on my Yonexes and two Wilson's (that came with the racquets) on my PS 6.0 95's. Leather is leather to me as long as you have a overgrip over it.
