Slide like gael Monfils

    does anyone know how to and could tell me because i tried to do it before like a lot but i wouldn't slide just stop in place

    umm I wear out my cages then they slide if I run fast enough.

    Don't do this! It is very bad for the ankles, even when I was watching Gael play two years ago JMac and someone else were wondering why he was sliding on hard courts and were commenting on how dangerous this is.

    HOWEVER...

    If you really do want to slide, when you are moving to one direction, slide on the innersole of your outer shoe. ex; If you are on the run going right and you are going to hit a forehand slice (right handed) slide on the inner arch of the right foot.

    That's just how I do it when I absolutely feel like I must.

    Well thats what I do but its not on purpose. And my ankles are weak too. I should wear braces.

    this is a good good way to break your ankle.

    dont do it man! you might tear your acl or ankle ligament. Its not worth it you can do alot of damage

    first, ive been doing this for years and ive never ever hurt myself doing this.

    second, you need to be able to run really really fast to do this, if you cant, forget this

    third, you have to have great legs, strenght and good articulations.

    fourth, dont try to do this. It should come naturally. well, it did to me.

    i have no idea what u mean by innersole when i tried i just dragged the right side of my left foot's shoe to slide on the forehand side
