So I switched from Nike to Lacoste...

So for about the last year, I've been buying up anything Nike I could get my hands on (mostly Nadal stuff) until I realized I had WAY TOO MUCH STUFF. Roddick is my favorite player and I've always liked the stuff Lacoste makes for him (just not the price they sell it at)... when I did a cost analysis of everything I was spending on Nike, I realized that I could have all the Roddick stuff and still save a couple hundred bucks a year... anyways, I just received my Super Dry Lacoste polos in the mail from the companies website, got the Gibraltar Blue/White checkered one, White/Gibraltar Blue checkered & Black/White checkered polos.

On a side note, the Gibraltar Blue/White checkered polo looks pretty awesome when paired with white shorts alongside the Red ProPulse 3's and the Red Lacoste Trucker Hat.

One question, does anyone know if Lacoste makes any shorts that aren't so short? I don't need it to be as long as the 12" inseam I'm used to with the Nike Nadal shorts, just something more than 7"/20cm..

Was the swtich worth it? I am always reluctant to buy lacoste tennis gear because of their high prices.

I gotta say I think it's worth it for me, better to have 5 really awesome setups than 20 and only wear 6. if only the track jackets weren't so damned expensive, but the one i want right now is only 100 so it's not THAT bad.

How many times does Lacoste bring out tennis stuff? Once per slam? IIRC I only saw Roddick in two outfits last year...

That would REALLY save you money :)

Did you take TW's advice and buy and size smaller for a more slim fit? I'm a lean guy, always buy Medium. I don't like to be swallowed by my polos and crews.
