    Now you guys are just arguing to argue. You're both right and are just nitpicking.

    I hate to say it, but I agree with Breakpoint, and it's because of my experience with ski boots. If you're getting toe bang, your boots are usually too big. Rule of thumb is to go down 1.5 sizes, so I'm buying a 26.5 (8.5) for my size 10 foot.

    I definitely prefer a snugger shoe for all activities, and the only time I've ever had black toes is with Feather 2s, which are 10s and too big.
