So I have been using the crappy adidas insoles that came with my B6's for a long time, but for the past couple of practices my feet have been getting so sore. It was definitely due to the insoles, since they were flat as pancakes.

I bought some sofsole athlete insoles, put them in the shoes (trimmed to fit exactly), HOWEVER I feel the arch near the ball of my foot, not near the center. Is it supposed to be like this, or will it change once the insole gets settled in?

I am going to practice today with them but I wanted some insight ahead of time.

Check to make sure you got the right size. Assuming you do have the correct size... I found the SofSoles to feel a little bunched up just behind the ball of my foot (though not directly under the ball of the foot) for the first few times I play in them but then they are fine. I use the ones specifically for arch support because I have a pretty high arch and really need the cushioning. Thy are the most comfortable insoles I have tried and the cushioning lasts for a long time before I need another pair.

They are the correct size. Yeah, i just feel the arch support is lower (as in more towards the heel) than it should be, touching part of the ball of my foot, but perhaps it will get better once I start using them.

I have the yellow bakeable ones now on my dress shoes. They do tend to mold in time

Just played in them and they feel much more fitting now. Although it was a break-in, these things are much better than those crappy foam inserts. I can't wait to see how these things feel after they are fully broken in.
