What strings have you used/would you recommend that are softer and livilier than PSGD but stiffer and more controlled than TF X-1 BP that hold tension well?

I've been using both lately and would like to find something in between the two. I have tried Dunlop Max Comfort but think it strings up a little stiff and goes dead kind of quickly.

NO poly's, hybrids or gut please.

    thanks-

Laserfibre Supreme would fit between PSG DF and X-One, although its not one of my favorites. Volkl Power Fiber / Klip Excellerator would be firmer than X-One but more playable than the Prince string. Also Tecnifibre TRC would be worth looking at.

I agree TRC would be a good choice. I would also recomend Yonex Tour Super 850 and 850 Pro Spin. The former plays similarly to TRC but IMO holds tension better; and the pro spin is the crisper of the two and holds tension very well.

Laser Supreme would get my vote. It's firm for a multi, but softer than PSGD and it holds it's tension bettern than any other multi I've tried.

    Hi,

I know Gamma Strings get a bad rap here.. but the XP 17 fits that bill for me.

    Regards,

LF Supreme for a multi, Prince Lightning XX for a mono.

IMO X-cel is at least as if not more soft than x-one biophase. I found it similar to NXT.

Gosen og micro has fit that bill here lately. It pockets the ball much better than PSGD also. If you are looking for economical options it's worth trying for sure.
