Some good tips on adding variety to your slice

    Depth control on slices: hitting it deep and short on purpose to jerk the baseliner around. This tactic works against a baseliner with poor approach shots and volleys.

    The video tells us that it's a good strategy...but how? Do you hit the slice more forward, with more spin, with a higher arc above net, etc.?

    All of the above choices.
    You can hit lower and higher, but same swing speed.
    You can hit harder or softer, with a change of swingpath.
    You can vary your swingspeed.
    You can fake a sliced backhand, then drive it flatter and faster.
