Yes, Spencer is a great kid! They don't come much better than Spencer. Honest, hard worker, precise, consistent game. Hasn't been playing much USTA lately. Has done some ITF mens lately. My son played him once this year. 3 hours, 3 sets. Miraculously my son won, but only because he was in the best shape of his life!

Just to be clear, you're talking about the SS from UT, right? Smith IS a common name!

If it is Smith of Utah that you are talking about--he is top 40 nationally and ranked #1 in the intermountain (Utah, Nevada, Colorado and Idaho) region.

I have seen him play. He is more of a backcourt player with a fabulous topspin forehand. He also has a very solid backhand, spin and slice and he mixes it up. Hard flat first serve, good speed on his topspin 2nd serve.

Smart player and he doesn't make many mistakes.
