On a team loaded with basketball pedigrees (Hardaway, Robinson, Horford) and a player-of-the-year candidate (Burke), this kid has lit up the Georgia Dome! 17 points on perfect 3-pt shooting...he hasn't missed outside the arc the whole weekend. What a story!

Michigan cannot rebound in the second half. Shame it looks like Pitino will win a second NC.

Could the officiating have been any worse!?! My god, they blew a ton of calls that really hurt Michigan. Obvious calls. And I live in Louisville.

Bad officiating is one of the most entertaining aspects of college basketball.

It wasn't as bad as the OP though.

So, Brett, were you pulling for or against the Cards? :)

I was actually pulling for them...always liked Pitino (even after leaving UK and getting back in with the Cards) and the thought of both KY teams winning back to back was nice. Plus, I got to see the 'Fab Five' witness another Michigan championship loss. :)

To your point, the officiating was poor, as has been the trend in college bball for years.

Haha, you got me. I cannot bring myself to cheer for the chickens. As cool as it is to have the title in Kentucky back to back, the fact I live in Louisville gives the rivalry extra seasoning. Plus there's the fact that Pitino is a turncoat bas***d... I kinda wanted to try to cheer for them, but the reality is that their tears are delicious and I want them to lose every game. In a blowout if possible.
