Been using Spiky Shark (17g) for a couple years now and absolutely love the spin potential; however, I want to transfer to a string that offers a bit more control. I heard some good things about Tour Bite but have not tried it yet.

    Which string is better?

    Please address the following categories:

    -Power
    -Spin
    -Control
    -Comfort
    -Feel

Power: Can't really say if its great or bad, depends on tension.
Spin: By far the most easy string to generate spin with.
Control: Awesome because of the spin potential.
Comfort: It's an arm killer if you don't hybrid it with a softer string or you string low.
Feel: In a full bed I didn't hit as many solid volleys and half-volleys with it, still good though.

Hate to say it but I have never played with Spiky Shark, strung it before for friends but never for myself. I worked with a 16g and it was pretty stiff stuff, though it's probably around Tour Bite's stiffness imo.

I would suggest you try out Tour Bite, the prototype string TW sent out was probably an updated version of the Tour Bite and felt a lot more comfortable. So if you like playing with Tour Bite, you might like it more when they(if they ever do) release that prototype string.

like Spikey shark for spin but like tourspin for power and feel. but you know what blows away both of these strings ? It is yonex poly tour spin.

Tour Bite feels stiffer and is LESS powerful in my imo. Its really hard to match Spiky Shark's spin with that extreme profile. Tour Bite probably has better control but not quit as much spin potential.
