No contest. Would any one else done better than Ivan? Not much ...

Just watched this match on TV. Actually the score is a bit deceptive and the match was a lot closer than the score suggested. Lubucic did give Fed a good fight, especially in the first set when at one point he had Federer down triple break point. Unfortunately for Ivan, he wasn't able to pull off the break and from then on his challenge faded. He did play a few more good points in the second but it's the same old story with all of Federer's opponents this week- he just was not able to string together enough points in succession to stop Roger. So Federer has just won his 14th successive tournament final, and this week without the loss of even one service game. Really impressive and again begs the question- who'll stop him now?

Looks like he just picked up right where he left off in 2004. Being more focused to stay on top it makes you have a feeling that he may even have a greater yr. Kind of scary but the anticipation is exciting.

I am amazed by this continuous streak in downing opponents with ease. Someone needs to bring this run to an end fast!

Good for Lube to get to a final though, I think its been awhile.

More complete domination by Fed in 05. The Slam is imminent.

What is the point of having spoiler in the topic?

If hovering ones mouse over the posted thread displayed gives away the first sentence of your post, thus revealing the match results!

That's a bit too much of a complaint. Don't want a spoiler, then don't hover! You're being nitpicky, unless you're joking.

Though I suppose we don't really NEED a spoiler for Fed-Ljubicic - everyone knew Fed was going to win anyway, the only question was the score.
