The idea just popped into my head. Is it practical? Is it bad for the strings?

hells no the spray paint may get on your frame even if you cover your frame that will just get all over the place; it's just not practical.

i sprayed mine once, as descrived by "virtua tennis", got too close to the frame and painted as well, i had to use rubbing alcohol and water to remove it latter, no big thaangg
next time im gonna use masking take to cover the frame a little better
as for the durability of the string, i played with it for a month, did not notise any difference, paint came off just like it does from the stencil inks
