I have traded for a racket that the ex-owner claimed to have strung with squash string. very nice comfortable feel. I am not sure if it is partly due to the racket - fischer pro no 1. a brand that I have not used till now. Have anyone out there use squash string before?

String is string. Sets of squash string are just cut shorter since you only need 31' at most, and you typically use 17-18 gauge string for squash. Tennis sets are up to 40' long and are 16-17 gauge typically

It might be Bow Championship 17g - which is a super thin gauge 17 (1.20 mm) that has a picture of a squash ball on the pack. That would explaing great playability.
