Hey, What do you guys think about stamina spin. Does it give extra spin like it says. It feels really slippery to me like it wouldnt give much spin. How does it compare to Prince topspin? Would this be better as a cross string for a hybrid or as a full string job?

    Thanks, Jay

    Not so sure...

I'm not so sure that the textured strings add that much to the spin potential of a racquet. THE most important factor for spin generation is racquet head speed and the angle of attack of the racquet to the ball.

I've found that Stamina Spin is not very durable. I think you'd be better off using regular Stamina in 17 gauge.

I put in a set of Stamina Spin in a PSC 6.1. It didn't last very long, some where in the range of 5 hours of light hitting.

Agree, Stamina Spin is o.k. but nothing special. PSGD 17g is a better playing and cheaper strring, IMO.
