The NJT International Masters kicks off in the Dominican Republic today.

Rafael Nadal won this tournament 3 times.

Stefan Kozlov (11) is playing in U12 and he will be able to play the tournament 3 more time after this.

Consideirng that he made it to the finals of Eddie Herr last year in U12 he should have a good shot at winning this year and the next 3 years, for a total of 4, thereby beating Nadal's first major record!

He should have a good shot at winning this years NJT ,he has great enough defensive skills to fend off any 12 yr olds in the bracket , but to continue winning year after year he will need some size or he will run into the same problem other little guys like Digulio have run into the rest of the field get bigger and tracking balls get a little more difficult .

i hope the best for him .

Huge enough for NIke to make a big deal about it. Also, considering that Rafa turned pro the year after he won his 3rd NJT title - you figure it out!

Nadal stood 6'2 by the time he turned pro , Kozlof is not the tallest and neither is his dad so he will have his challenges , the players are getting bigger on average ,looking at what Cilic just did to Nadal and Delpotro did the same thing. i hope he puts size on cause the game of the future is heading that way. once again best of luck to him and also when does that tourny start?

I have praised Stefan many times on these boards. But no offense, if someone forced me to bet, my money would be on a career closer to Donald Young than Rafa. Tremendous junior, not physical enough for the pros.

But I wish him all the luck in the world.

My money is on Boris he's got that younger kid syndrom. Plus Stefan has too much too prove. Boris plays more freely. No worries, so to speak

i agree Boris is the one but they are both gonna need to get past 5'6 or they will end up like Boluda , Boluda will tell you when your 16 or 17 and everyone is towering over you , he has found out all the guys he beat in the 10's and 12's has made no difference now that they are 6 to 7 inches taller.

There was this 13 yr old that smoked Boluda the 16yr old 62 61 ,, is not this the Boluda you say is the future of tennis losing to a 13 yr old

Not quite - most of them are 12 and can only win the tournament 3 times - Stefan is 11 and has a chance to win it 4 times.

One thing about Stefan is his schedule strength. He wins while playing the 1st or 2nd ranked toughest schedule. Brad teases about his height but so far the boys a winner.

Stefan's age is as it is stated. He started playing in the 10s when he was only 7 years old.....that does not mean he was 10 three years ago of course! Brad has been spreading this older nonsense for a while now, ever since Kozlov destroyed his son in a match.

sorry about being off 1 inch but the difference between 5'4 or like Boluda 5'6 is a HUGE difference when you enter the pro league , my sons standing 6'0 even and some of the guys he playing now he couldn't compete with although he has a solid game and great strokes , his size was always what made the difference he just fell "short" in the match. Hey tenflorida look up a kid Oscer Fabian Mathews let me know what you think of his resume.

BTW running down balls corner to corner and flipping them back across the net with nice defensive height is not my idea of being destroyed but it shows your coaching intellect if thats how you judge being destroyed.

OH OH OH wait a minute you were not even there watching the Deiton kid hitting big to the corners and a boy playing from 4 to 6 ft behind the baseline chasing them down .

And on a serious note this is why so many on here discredit you and beg for that Brad guy to come back they love the expert and trip on the fake (you)

the last years winner Quincy luigi was found out he was a little confused on his age but he one the 12's at the nike event at 14 nice integrity.

Well until Brad comes back, you can be our "expert" wink, wink.

Now from what I heard Stefan had touch, angles, pace when needed, set up his next shot nicely, and ran DB all over the place. From what 2 coaches who were there told me DB did hit pretty hard but with no rhyme or reason to his shots.

Rumor has it that Stefan Kozlov is just a way more advanced player than DB with many more facets to his game.

But rumors are what they are, I didn't see it first hand.

Tell me about Oscer Fabian Matthews.....looks like he plays a tough schedule.

I did get to watch a pretty good kid hit last week named Sekou Bangoura Jr. Very smooth around the court, didn't blow me away with his power though.

your probably right i'm just wondering why the DB kid is getting invites to hit with this williams girl so she could a solid workout against him and one of his fellow hitting partners.

As for running DB all over he did throw a few good drop shots.

but they are are 2 different paths well just have to see.

Interesting....I don't see him playing DB on his activity or DB's tennis recruiting activity.

Is this one of your off the record matches where DB beats pro men players with one hand again....or did I miss the official record of that match?

By the way Brad....I see your best buddy Jan Silva, even at 8, can't get past the first round of local park 10s tournaments.

But since tenniscrazed and I saw slow feet and a robotic pattern of hitting balls fed right at him and you saw the next Nadal I am sure he will start being the prodigy any day now!

Post the a whole match against Matthews (not just a point here or there or even if you paid him to play db). You NEVER will post a sanctioned match because the match never happened.

The match never happened. I looked the kid up. He plays 2 singles at UCI and there is no record of any match open or otherwise where he was there. I checked the ITA as well.

from what i heard and "saw" it was a wild card shootout they served, they hit forehands, they hit backhands, even a few slices and in the end the DB kid moved on to the next round and unfortunately broke his thumb in the next round and ended up losing a close one .

you may be right dont think it was sanctioned but none the less it was a tourney with 64 men playing for a wild card and id be more then willing to b*t 50$$ that it did happen and DB did win .

Wait I just remembered "shout out" that's Brad's version of "king of the court" Ha. Are you kidding me. DB is now playing "king of the court now". Wow a serve, a forehand, even some slices congrats a fricken lation.

Brad here is the deal buddy. Everything, EVERYTHING a college player does short of whats in practice is documented somewhere. (USTA, ITF, ITA, ATP, NCAA, NAIA) sorry dude it's just that simple. Too bad for you I didn't cheat on my NCAA requirements ;)

"no ones retiring yet lol were laying now 20 days on the couch sick heading back in for more bloodwork today . but hope Col continues to do well so sorry for the garret experience lol"

response to top post from TnsMan2:
Sorry you moron, but the above statement said "were" which punctuated correctly would be we're, which in the end would mean "we are". Therefore, it would indicate you and at least one other was ill on the couch.

FYI: It is not a good idea to mention other children's names, matches or the way they play tennis. Stick to DB for your own good.

I hope your son recovers to the best of health, if it is really him that is really ill. Unfortunately, you are hard to believe at times.

I know Brad has his moments, aka crazy, but Deiton has been ill for the past 4 weeks. He has taken numerous tests and has gone to many specialists. Hopefully all is well. Btw, some of you guys take Brad way too seriously.
Deiton did defeat OFM in a non-sanctioned tournament... play to "21", rotating serving 5 points each. Deiton won 21-10. Also, Deiton lost to NCAA doubles champion Antonio Ruiz, 22-20, in another non-sanctioned "21" tournament. I don't recall if that tournament included serves.

This thread "which i did not put up" mentions a kids name and how hes a good player which he is ! and there is no warning of that YET if you talk about some ugly tennis its considered NEGATIVE and at that point we are not aloud to mention names and ugly styles LOLOLO

i will allways speak freely about whoever and continue to say what you find hard to believe .

and for Deiton will see what happens

Being you are from the east coast as well, how did you find these results? Ruiz was Isners doubles partner. When and where did these matches occur?

If in fact these results are validated then I may have some sponsorship ops for DB. Can you post a link of some kind. There must be some type of draw sheet.

In the meantime, I will contact the GA and UCI coaches (both are friends and may be able to help)

tenniscrazed....this poster always seems to talk the Brad party line. Either a close buddy, a gullible nice guy who believes the nonsense, or another alias. He has 'backed up' Brad in the past. For a guy in NY, 3000 miles away, he sure has lots of 'inside' Brad and DB information.

It just amazes me how DB loses to 15th or 28th ranked kids over and over in tournaments that are on the record we can all find....but he magically beats top guys when there is never any record besides his word.

If the US Open is ever a "non-sanctioned" event than I am sure Brad's boy will beat Nadal! My regret is that Brad's boy will someday turn 18, go to college to become a marine biologist, and then Brad won't have any reason to keep up the entertaining charade that keeps this forum fun.

what im amazed at is you are both supposibly dads and theres talk on here that Deiton might have "cancer" and look at your responces and how ruffled you are over junior tennis and to whats being written , i truly feel sorry for your kids you both should read the Bible it will teach you what matters,,

10schick is the only one on here with a brain and whoever this tom c is he knows whats going on because tennis is a small world.
