Stellarium, a planetarium software

    Pretty amazing and genius software. We can see the universe in real time, in 3D with photo realistic image quality. We can zoom in and out the moon, mars, stars, nebulas, constellations, planets, e.t.c. We can even see satellites moving on their orbits in real time! It's a lot of fun.. every single object is given a detailed description of it's position and distance from the viewer. The viewer can choose the location where they want to view it from.. just select from hundreds of cities around the world listed in the location setting.

    You can even see the universe from Mars, Moon, Jupiter... it's very neat. Now I get to know the name of the stars that I've been wondering what they're called

    It's an excellent piece of software.

    Yep. Stellarium is nice. And so is the free Google Sky app on android.
