Any observable difference in play with stencil ink on?

I heard somewhere that too much ink can be felt.

    Anybody with experience?

    Its a myth.

If you put too much stencil ink, however, it will stain the ball and leave marks on it.

there is no difference. just like a vibration dampener taking away power... it doesn't happen!
