Can anyone recommend a good spay stencil ink ???
i'm sure any of them work just fine. Persoanlly I just use Sharpie =)
Same here! Sharpie's are the way to go. It marks your balls like crazy though.
also keep in mind if you use poly strings the ink wears off of them faster than the other kinds of string, or so i've heard and noticed.
A $2.99 bottle of stencil ink from TW takes about 20 seconds for each side of the stencil and is good for 20-50 racquets.
Using a sharpie must take at least 5 -10 min and IMO wont look as good
sharpie and stencil ink both work very well
For me ink is great. White color bleeding too much, but gray and green looks really cool.
Babolat stencil ink wore off my cyberflash in less than 10 minutes
yeah, "babol-color" or whatever it is called wore off my MSV Focus Hex in 1 session and after about 3 times i got sick of re doing it, so i said screw it.
Where would you get stencil ink in green color?
. . . Bud
I have an old bottle of Gamma red and and one I bought a few months ago. Both bottles seemed to have clumped up. Though black and blue colors are fine, also purchased a few months ago. Only the red has this problem, anyone else experienced this?
do you use the big thick sharpies?
buy them from TW
Hah. I've never seen green stencil ink.
Green ink would look killer with a dollar sign stencil.
Wouldn't show up well on my dark strings though.
I only know two places that sells green ink. One in GB: world of stringers and another in States: depot of tennis.
It's really bizarre...
...but there really is a difference in stencil inks. I have no luck with anything other than Gamma, and I have no luck with anything other than Gamma Blue. Gamma Red comes right off, and any other brand is just garbage, from what i can tell...
Anyone know if its bad to use a sharpie on poly or multifilaments? Are there chemicals in there that might affect the play of the string?
Always thought that the stencil ink usually used was made not to have any adverse affects. thanks
