So...are we? Discuss!
Yes extremely weak when hard-hitting mugs like Del Potro can win slams. Only Sampras-types should win slams.
Who are you and what makes you a PRO analyzer and such???
Sampras-types were one dimensional. Spank a serve, and VOlley. Spank a serve, and VOlley. Spank a serve, and VOlley. Spank a serve, and VOlley.
I like Sampras though. Cat had 14 GS with a Spank-Serve & Volley.
The GameSampras clones are gonna have your head for this.
Sounds like you don't know much about Sampras or tennis.
But of course.
Talentless hacks like Delpo beating Fed hahaha yada yada yada hate hate hate.
And so on.
You guys are on crack. Do you have any idea just how good these men are on the tour today? Del Potro is anything but a talentless hack. He's 6' 6", quick as a cat, a serve that is great and still getting better, a monster game from the baseline, is showing that if he works at it, he can become a good volleyer, and a psyche that is only now beginning to believe in himself.
This guy is so good as to be called freakishly good. That goes for the rest of the top players, too. You all on this thread, do you play tournaments? USTA? Do you win them regularly? And at what level? 3.0? 4.0? 5.0? Doesn't matter. Anywhere you look, anywhere you play, there is talent in your area to match yours. It's never easy to dominate, even if you're just a wannabe schmoe like most of us.
These are the best players in the world! Pete Sampras one dimensional??? Dude. Seriously. They'd have beaten you every time if you'd ever played them, even if they were five and you were ten. They were ten and you were twenty. In a wheel chair and you able bodied.
Quit fooling yourselves and wasting time wondering how "weak" they are. Enjoy a player like Del Potro today, because tomorrow, like in five years tomorrow, he'll have won a whole bunch of slams and tourny's, and some kid who's the next big thing will hand him his ass in a sling like he did to Nadal yesterday and Federer today. That's just the natural order of things.
My two cents.
Separate names with a comma.
