I'm not looking to buy anything, but these strings came out and have gotten zero press. Has anyone tried any of their offerings?

I posted a review of Still in Black Protect probably around 6 months ago that I had to do for the other forum.

It does it's job and that's about it. An "arm friendly" poly that plays average in every department. Really if comfort is your only concern then it's one of the best ways to go, but it doesn't really shine anywhere else.

Extreme Tennis in France sell these. Ship globally as well as far as I'm aware.

Well they have four strings and the Select is the one I'm interested in. For a company called Still in Black, it's odd to me that the majority of their strings are blue.

There are so many strings out now and its all subjective.

I was the guy that brought MSV Hex to the UK 5 yrs ago. I saw this string pop up with little info so I spoke to the manufacturer and got some samples of all the strings.

There are certainly better strings for a lot more money but for the price i was impressed which is why i decided to distribute it. It is certainly one of the most comfortable poly strings you will ever play with, demo it and see for yourself.

Send me a message if you need anymore info.

I tried Select 1.25 through the other forum also. It's very average in all categories except for power was med-high compared to other polys I've tried. I would say it is similar to PLII but stiffer.

Also the string is navy blue by the way.

Thanks for the page, I'll take the call in the other thread :D

No but for real, rodrigo, can you personally state what is and isn't good about it? I do not look at specific stringforum reviews because they're usually extremely vague and pointless. One TTW opinion is worth 10 stringforum opinions to me.

I'll talk about the Select as that was my favorite and among my favorites to date of all strings ever tested.

I enjoy the unique feel and comfort of the poly and how it maintained its tension.. It strings up a bit on the stiffer side but plays very soft. Nothing special when it comes to spin but if you want feel, power, and comfort, this string gives the perfect blend of that IMO.. Also that it maintains tension is always a plus
