Still "LunarLite"?

Has Nike reverted to the name "LunarLite", after using "LunarLon" for a while?

The images on Tennis Warehouse and Nike's online store of the Wimbledon Vapor Tour, and the White/Dark Obsidian/Football Blue Vapor Tour show the shoes still labelled with "LunarLite" on the heels. The name on the throat of the White/Obsidian/Blue one still says "LunarLite".

I was thinking maybe they just modified the colours in Photoshop, but it seems the latter Vapor Tour has a slightly different font for the words on the heels, too, so it probably wasn't just a change of colours.

(Some of the images on Tennis Warehouse of the Wimbledon Vapor Tour says LunarLon, though).

So, did Nike just revert to LunarLite?

What I'm wondering is why the name went back to "LunarLite" after Nike supposedly decided to change it to "LunarLon". Different regions of the world using a different name?

I don't think they did "go back" to LunarLite. The marketing may have reflected Lunarlon, but Nike hasn't yet put Lunarlon in a tennis shoe...

...oh, wait... breaking news... apparently Lunarlon is now in the new color of the Nike Breathe 2K10s!

The Wimbledon shoes might be the crossover point and some different versions were made/shipped to different areas. I've seen photos of the shoe in 2 slightly different colour versions also - both with Lunarlite but one with a gold plastic support around the heel.

The retail version I've seen in my hometown is different again - it's the plain white version but says Lunarlon.

Some shoes are showing up with Lunarlite and Lunarlon during the same year. I know the LunarElite running shoes are an example. Don't know for sure if tennis shoes are, too. But apparently it just depends on where the shoe was made that dictates whether it had LunarLite or Lunarlon. But Nike is moving toward Lunarlon, slowly but surely.

A bit off subject, but is it just me or the Lunarlite on Vapor VI feels a lot stiffer than Lunarlite Tour??

Different material? If so, why is the Lunarlite on Breathe Free 2K10 feels as soft as Lunarlite Tour??
