Now that the fxp Prestige has been made available, its time to stock up on brand new lm's prestiges. At least one retailer has already lowered the price on the LM and I'm waiting for TW to do the same soon.

Do some digging for the best prices. I respect TW and would rather not post their competitors in plain view.

jj300, i dont know where you are located...but a pro store 30 min. from where i live has had the price for the LM prestige down to $100 for a while now. although they raised it up to $110 recently, i still think it's a great deal.

Real, actual price markdowns on racquets happen nationwide. The small price cuts in random locations probably won't make TW price match, because anyone can claim their "local" sports store has a cheaper price.

But for me the LM Prestiges were the worst of the prestige line, so no need to stock up for me.

Don't even bother with the LMP get the new stick or get the classic, soon the LMP will be worth nothing and I would not want to be caught holding a bundle of those:-|

But most people don't buy tennis racquets as investments, do they? I'd say that if he plays better with the LM Prestige than any other racquet, then obviously they're worth quite a lot to him, right?

I think he should try the FP prestiges and see if there is an improvement before loading up. Having tried the FP prestiges, IMO, I see an improvement and many will switch not only for improvement but because it is new. Many LMP's are being dumped in classifieds for cheap even before the FP is out. Not only the classics are priced higher than LMP but even the iprestiges are fetching a higher price :)

Michael- where does the FP rank compared to the Iprestige and and classic?

I've been hitting the LM for a few hours, and it feels okay, but I still prefer the classic. I've never hit the Iprestige

the LMP was one of the most popular rackets for the past few years, they are everywhere, you will always be able to get them, every tennis players has or had one, the market is over saturated.

It is not a big deal, I personally would not want to go out buy them for $100 and then decide I want the FP as the price continues to drop to $50.

    Your choice

The LMP will not drop down under $100 if that.

CAP refers to the type of bumper guard used on some Head models. Unlike the usual bumper guards that cover only the top of the frame, CAP bumper guards cover virtually the entire head.

Check the TW Feedback forum, tentative date is April. I've got enough to last a lifetime, but the more, the merrier!

Thanks much. It'll be a long three months. I've got a few, but like most, can do with a few more. :)
