I am bewildered by all the choices for strings.
I have read the FAQs and Sticky's about the different types.
But when I go to buy, the one I have chosen is usually not in stock at that shop.

What I need is a listing of all the strings by Mfr and by type.
[ Comments on things like "poly; soft" or multi; syn gut would also help.]

Is there a good listing of all/most of the strings out there ?

    Thanks

    check out http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/catpage.html?CCODE=StringCats
maybe this won't have ALL strings ever made, but its got whole lot more then i was able to find on my own, and a way bigger sellection then the sports stores arround me
but the biggest benefit its the reviews, not only from manufacturers who say the same thing about all the string "lively, durable, great feel", but also user reviews which i value more

Don't you have it backwards? Why don't you let us in on what your chosen shop has, first.

I go to several shops here in Bangkok.
    Selections are limited.
This is why a list is handy so I can know if what they have fits what I want that particular day; poly, syn gut, etc.
