String Notching

    Newish to game and learning. Once they notch up are they done?

    No. But when they notch it means that they are closer to breaking...

    Depends on the strings you use..Notching is nothing to be afraid of. It happens to every string. Just make sure you restring it often enough so you don't hurt your arm. String Savers are great for gut to stop the sawing action so the gut will last longer. Some strings work better when they move freely, such as polys.
