Just curious to know what string is typically used for the Prince Rebel 95 demos. I demoed a 1/2 grip a couple of weeks ago that snapped during my trial period and the string was just amazing. I wasn't able to see any writing on the string, but I recall it being 'milky' in color, the string frayed a great deal, moved a great deal, and when it snapped the two ends were just shredded <- don't know if that helps with narrowing down what string was possibly used in the demo.

Any leads would be appreciated. I'm looking to purchase the racquet from TW with the same string set-up!

    Thanks!

TW usually tries to keep a multi at mid tension in most demo frames to give a uniform testing platform, but people do restring the demos they receive to whatever they want to try out.

By the sound of it, it was a multi, and they tend to go with the brands of the frame they are stringing, so more than likely it was PSGM, at or around 57 lbs when strung (but probably lost quite a bit of tension by the time they broke, so i'd guess low 50's)

    Hope this helps,

    Cup.

I think it would come with the Prince Premere. It is white in color, and a multi. It feels pretty good, but as usual, does not last too long.

Lucked upon an old posting from TW that stated they use PSGM on all Prince demos. At first I thought, no way, but after scrolling down Prince's string options I noticed that the natural color-way is actually white in color: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/viewlarge.html?pcode=PSGM16RN I assume they use the 16G option as they use 16G for both Wilson and Head frames; NXT and FXP.

Thanks for your input Cup8489 and jmjmkim! I'm so happy!
