My coach suggested me today to use string savers as I am braking my strings every two weeks or so. Any player that has experience with string savers? Do you recommend them? What brand? Do I get the same feeling? Where should I placed them?

Sorry, but today was the first time I heard about string savers

Love them! Babolat seems to make the best ones in my opinion.

They can change the tension of the strings however.....but I learned a really cool trick that will give you more spin.

If you put string savers on every other main it will create more spin. There's a you tube video on it...of your interested I can find it for you.

    how often do play?

    how hard do you hit?

    spin?

    what strings?

two weeks may not be abnormal for you, pending the above.

I agree about the tension, it's noticeably stiffer.

Dark Knight, could you, please, try digging up that video? Thanks!

My strings are alu power rough and babolat xcel (Hybrid). Obviously the string that pops is the xcel. I play two to three times a week and I do hit with top spin. Even if it is normal to brake the strings, my wallet is feeling the pain.....

LOL, I remember now, I stumbled upon this video a couple of months back, but thought it was so boring I was going to commit suicide, and didn't finish watching it.
