You use stencil ink with a Wilson Stencil in your case.
You can't do much on preserving the stencil. The only thing you can do is paint it back on using more stencil ink.

Yeah I have a Wilson stencil myself with the red paint that you can buy off TW. I also created my own stencil that i will put on my next racquet as soon as the strings break :D

Yeah the Wilson poly Ink does seem to be a little better then their old ink but it still comes off too quickly, they need to supply us with the same ink as they use originally when you get the factory strings. That stuff lasts forever.

i am reposting this from another topic...

What about alcohol based ink? Would that eat up the strings?

i have a bottle of this [IMG]

    and some of these:
( i do not know what the ingredients are)
    Very Permanent and thin
Basically spray paint in pen form

I was just wondering if any of these would damage the strings in any way...

with poly, the ink doesnt seem to sink in like it does with strings such as synthetic. i have black gamma ink and on poly it starts to come off very quickly. if your using poly, i think its just something that you will have to deal with.
