Okay so i usually never get tennis elbow but the few times i have were back when i hit with X-1 biphase at 59 and also when i hit with luxilon savage at 59. Now i know it wasnt the string itself because i've hit with savage, rpm, PHT, and big banger original all strung at 63 and never had tennis elbow. Now people always post on here about how they had tennis elbow with a certain tension but then strung it loosely and it was better, but i disagree. I believe that by stringing looser it's actually worse for your elbow. My private coach, who has strung at professional tournaments, has always said that tighter strings are actually better for tennis elbow. Any comments on this?

and why should tighter be better? you cant just throw some random thought without reasons lol

tighter = less elastic, less durable, more stiffness. so its unlikely that tighter = better for the arm.

Just telling my personal experiences. I'm not sure the reasons behind it but tighter strings for me have always felt better on my arm.
