hi would I benefit from a stringing at say 54-52 mains/crosses, despite using a full bed of the same string? or would it be unusual?

Im using Head youtek ig instinct MP and planning on using RPM Team for this

I do this often and also frequently recommend it for my customers.

I feel that lowering the cross string tension by 2 to 3 pounds helps widen the sweet spot and make for an overall more comfortable string bed.

I wouldn't go more than 2 to 4 pounds in difference but others might say it's ok.

I do the opposite, crosses 3 lbs. tighter than mains to stop racquet from distorting off the stringer. Due to friction, crosses already have significantly less tension than mains.
