Plenty of control with my racquet, could use a little more pop. What strings might be useful. Prefer to stay 16 guage, not gut.

This is a tough one to answer since you didn't tell us what string you have in your stick right now and what tension it's at.

Generally, if you're stringing the racquet tightly, then you may want to try and drop the tension a few pounds and see what happens. The feel may not be so discernable, but you should probably get some extra pop off your shots.

If you're looking for a new string altogether, a soft multifilament should serve you well. Tecnifibre NRG2 is a good one, as is Babolat X-Cel. Of course, if you're already using strings like this, then your only real alternative is to either string looser, or take the dive and spend money on natural gut.

A lower tension does not really increase power---does more re. depth of your shots. You may consider experimenting with lead tape positioned strategically @ the head. Refer to the "Learning Center" option on the TW Boards here for what would help you best.

like has been stated, try stringing a couple of pounds lower. if looking for new strings, try babolat x-cell, or nxt original.
