Will this affect play or warp the frame or anything?
cut it out right now
are you serious?
Can I get a second opinion b4 i cut it? Anyone?
here's your second opinion, you should cut it out and restring.
aight, will do I guess.
Who strung it for you? A pro? If so, the restring should be free. If it was yourself... well, the money you save on labor hsould make the restring cost effective. I think you'll be OK for a string job just playing with it, but there are always the what ifs. It's not the end of the world, but it's not exactly proper, either.
Cut it out. You run the potential of pulling the frame out of shape. And pay attention to the skips next time. If you don't know what you are doing, research (there are several sites that give you the skips and patterns of most racquets) before you attempt this again.
I actually didn't string it myself. I bought a few rackets off a guy and got him to string them for me. I really don't know much about stringing so I thought I would post the question here.
Thanks for the help guys!
This is exactly why I say there is a major difference between a stringer, and a person capable of stringing... No real stringer would allow that to go out to someone.
This falls in the "why risk it" category.
Secondly . . . If you have hime re-string it, make sure he starts the crosses at the head side. This racquet should be strung two piece.
. . . Bud
man i just looked at that and fell apart lauging
I few years ago I bought 3 used sticks. One of them had the same stringing error.
I played it and did not notice any diff. and the frame was ok.
LOL I LAUGHED MY BUTT off when i saw that
wow...im not a pro stringer or anything, but i would not allow a racket associated with my name go out like that
i find that pretty funny though. if the guy lives around you, he should definitely restring for you OR offer to send you a new set of string since you will be having to cut it out.
I laugh when I first saw that. I don't think it will affect the playability though.
if you can string it yourself try to
clamp the main before the mistake,
cut the crosses,
finish the mains correctly
and restring the crosses hybrid or 2 pieces.
No, no, no. Cut it out and restring and have someone else do it this time.
Make sure the next guy that strings for your knows the correct pattern... Sometimes if you are not familar with a racket you can just follow the flow of the gromments - and this would not be a pattern I would want to repeat.
Yeah! I hope youve cut it out by now as this could really hurt the frame!
here's what u do. U go back to the guy who strung it for u, ask for your money back. Then break his damn leg and tell him if he ever does it again, you'll go after his wife and children
Never string when extremely drunk.
Separate names with a comma.
