I'm a senior on my high school tennis team, we have a player on the team who strings all the racquets, but soon ill be graduating and will have no means of stringing my racquet. What is a good stringing machine for beginners?

Out of curiosity, does he string for cost or does he make a little profit? How often do you retring? If you restring often and pay $10 - 15 per string job, then investing in a machine may be a good option. Also do you intend to string for others? If this is a case and you will also be stringing for a profit then you may want to think about investing in a higher quality machine that will produce consistent and accuarate results each time. Just something to think about. There are more posts about machines in the stringing machines forum.
