Stringing up Tour Bite

With a multi (maxim touch) cross. It made this horrible sound, was really funny to see my brother leave the room while stringing it up.

With about 3 crosses to go, I noticed the last foot or so of string was ripped up to much I was worried it would snap while tensioning. All finished fine and the racket is ready for play.

Has anybody had a similar scenario with the tour bite or any other string? For the record mains were at 50lbs and crosses at 55lbs.

I once strung up a MSV Heptatwist main with Pro Hurricane Tour cross. It made a horrible sound every time the machine pulled tension. Neither broke or showed any sign of wear though.

The whole sweet spot is fine, its the bottom 2 crosses or so that are a bit roughed up. So keen to hit with it, just tried Typhoon so this will be a direct comparison.
