    Hey Guys,

I just got me 3 new microgel prestige pros which are strung with pht at around 56. I used to use this setup on my prince 03 tours which were leaded up, but on the microgels im lacking a bit of pop. Im leaning towards getting a hybrid with PHT and Xcel, anyother suggestions. I like hitting with plenty of topspin and mostly stay at the baseline.

You could get a more powerful poly (like pro supex big ace or topspin cyberpower), drop the tension or get a softer cross.

Stay away from xcel...its mushy and really is poor for the money. If you go for a soft cross a solid core synthetic works fine....Pro Supex titan is really soft and so is Forten Sweet.

I hit Prestige Pro's and use the following setup:

    Cyberflash 17 mains @ 54-56lbs and Forten Sweet crosses @ 58-60lbs

    Love it!

    Also have used:

Big Ace 16mains/Spiral Flex cross (same tensions as above). It's good, but would do the 17g IMO.

Probably my favorite set ups on this frame for my game have been:
Red Code mains 56 and Spiral Flex crosses at 58.
Also BB Alu mains at 56 Spiral Flex crosses at 58.
I also really like a full set up Klip Armor Pro at 61. The first 2 set ups are 17g mains with 16g crosses that last is full 17g. I play almost all singles and almost completely from the baseline. I rarely come to net.

I dont have the MG Prestige, but I'm about to try SPPP @55/ Gosen @ 60. After that, I'm going to try Pro Redcode and gosen at 55/60 also.

Similar to the above guy, I will be stringing my midplus with SPPP@ 52lbs.

The review on this poly is great, and has great tension maintenence compared to most polys.

Well, my TW Head Classic Mids came alive with Ashaway Dynamite WB 17 at 50 lbs. I do not use extreme grips so little shifting- use string savers, plays with solid power and control - maintains tension...
    Just a thought...
