Hey everyone, I'm really wanting to change up my string at the moment,

Currently hitting with Alu Power Rough/Babolat Synthetic Gut, and I've also tried out RPM Blast and I really cant adjust to anything.

I'm a pretty big hitter, big fan of serving/volleying and playing from the back. Rated in top 30 in my county for mens, which would make me around a 3.5 in the USA.

I've been wanting to try Wilson Sensation with something in the mains, but I really dont know what to mix it with, I also heard Beast XP works pretty well with Sensation, but I dont really know.

    Please give me your opinions.

Do you play with spin or prefer flat?
    Comfort? Power?
    Do you break strings?
Do you prefer a hybrid or a full bed?
    What is your budget?
    Do you have arm problems?

Please provide as much information as you can about what you are looking for.

Flat and powerful,I break on average 5/6 sets a month.

    Hybrid for sure.

    Budget is negotiable

    No arm problems no

I'm sure your stringer has some type of poly he uses for basic hybrids. Use that poly for the mains with Sensation in the cross. See how that works for now.

I string for myself, I've only got Blast and Big Banger as my two options at the moment.

Never really liked original, I'm looking for something pretty soft, getting some redcode to try with it.

He doesn't hit with topspin a lot. Maybe something else than poly? Even if durability seems to be an issue...

Now knowing he has a string machine time and money isn't an issue. Experiment and have fun.

Tourana BHB7 is definitely worth a try, great spin.

Kirschbaum Black Shark, and what's nice is you get 4 sets for 24 bucks. Not bad considering they go for 12 each.

Thanks for all the great feedback and suggestions, picked up some Redcode and Sensation today, also a half set of Beast XP and some Duraflex to go in it. Gonna try it and let you know the results!

If you like the textured stuff, take a look at Signum Pro Hyperion and Tourna Big Hitter Silver Rough.

Thin gauge Kevlar/Zyex hybrid. Try it out (it does have take about an hour and a half to break in).

Definitley gonna try out this Tourna stuff, alot of good reviews.

Strung up my Beast XP/Duraflex setup yesterday at 56/53 and that felt really good. Trying Redcode/Sensation sometime this week too!

The advantages of having 3 sticks :)

I played Redcode/Multifeel a while ago. MF was comparable to Sensation as cross strings go. I had it at 55/58 -Neos, in a 95" 18x20. I'd recommend a 4 or 5 lb. difference in tension to be able to get some feel from the multi.

You should like Red Code. It's a solid string.
