I'm missing some of the little striped bands for a couple of my woodie racquets that I would like to restore. Anyone know where I can buy them? Thanks in advance for any lead/sources you can provide.

I'd recommend cannibalizing them from another cheap used woodie... perhaps, a warped one selling for a few dollars on fleabay.

20 years ago in harlem, up on the West Side near the riverside park was 35 blocks of underground abandoned train tunnel. Hundreds of people made their permanent home in the miles of tunnels. Old stations, even some large parts that came up above ground... hundreds of feet of abandoned tunnel which housed folks who pirated their own electricity, scary folks that looked like they would never walk into a store in their entire lives. Plasma would often hang down there to do graffiti. Researchers estimated through interviews that 80- 90% of tunnel residents had at one point participated in cannibalism (true story!)
