Does anyone know of an overgrip that feels similar to Tourna Grip. I know grips like Wilson Pro have better durability, but I just dont like the feel of them. I enjoy using tourna Grip, but it seems it shred even quicker than usual in summers hot conditions. If anyone has suggestions, they would be appreciated! Also, has anyone tried the Pro's Pro Aqua grips? Thanks!

I like Tourna Grip the best too and always end up going back to it any time I try a new one. One thing that seems to help the longevity for me is getting a new regular grip under it. I just get the regular Head Hydrasorb white grip and do not use it at all without Tourna Grip on it.
That seems to reduce the amount of the TG that sticks to the handle.

Where I am, they sell a Dunlop equivalent of Tourna Grip that is absolutely superb. I don't think TW USA stocks it. Hydamax something or other...it's an absorbent, dry feel OG in a similar shade of Tourna blue. Doesn't shred to pieces or bleed colour onto your hands. Especially good for hot humid days. I reserve it for summertime play. The rest of the time I'm a Supergrap man. Tourna Grip is rubbish.

It looks like they only sell Hydramax is 3 packs. I wish I could buy a 30 pack.

Are the Solinco Heaven grips made out of that same type of fabric as Tourna Grip? Do you think I will like them if I buy a 30 pack? Thanks for your help.

I've used Tourna Grip for more than 15 years and have never had the color bleed onto my hand. Dunlop hydra whatever is a cheap chinese imitation of tourna.

Can anyone give a comparison of the Solinco Heaven Grips and Tourna Grip? Are the heaven grips made of the same type of material as Tourna? Do they offer any extra durability? Are they thicker?

I ended up buying the Heaven Grips and really like them. In fact i just oredered 30 more. They feel fairly similar to Tourna Grip, but are a little thicker and are little more tacky. The absorbtion is just as good as Touna. Im still a fan of Tourna Grip and I might like their feel slighly better, but the Solinco Heaven grips are pretty similar and have 10x the durablability. I could easily spend 10 hours in the summer heat with these grips and they would hold up. Tourna grip would be pretty much shredded after a 3 set match. In my eyes, these grips are an improved version of Tourna Grip.

I have also switched to Solinco Heaven, but from Supergrap. Heaven has the absorption of Tourna and seems to have the durability of a tacky grip. I'm suprised more people don't use it but I guess it is still fairly new compared to most other overgrips.

yeah, i think the Solinco heaven grips are great, I switched form tourna and the yonex grips this past winter. I like the grey color and the feel, but I still like the yonex grip in grey when I can afford them.

When I have to play Florida or Indian Wells, I reverse my Gamma Supreme OG's and they are great for hot/wet conditions.

Few people know this, and you can double the life of your grips if you want. I just find that a normal 'tacky' grip starts to feel like a wet fish in your hand if the heat/humidity is pouring it on.

Leather under teh tourna blue grip is GOATing hard 'round these parts. Esp. with my thick roughly calloused hand.

Yea it feels great but gets annoying to have to change grips constantly. Ill be sticking with the Solinco Heaven Grips over leather this summer.

Could someone please post pictures of how the solinco grips look on your racquets? I am looking to try them, but I just want to get an idea of what the grips look like in action.

You can go further if you have a one hander. When I used to use Tourna Grip, I got 4 uses out of 1 grip.

    Front, back, up, and down.

+1 this with wilson pro or gamma supreme. i think the back side doesn't have the tacky cover, and really absorbs well. plus, you get to reuse the other side.

since we can't send private messages on this forum, so you can either e-mail them to me, or post them on here.

you could upload your photos to a file host like imagebam or imagevenue
when the photos are finished uploading, you should get links for posting thumbnails of the photos as a quick-reply

but, if e-mailing would be easier, my e-mail is pahati96@gmail.com

I prefer Masterwrap overgrips. They feel a lot better than the Tourna Grip feel and the way they don't last.
