I used a prostaff 6.0 (95sq in) through junior tennis. Now, some years later, after a long hiatus I'm getting back into the sport.

I only have one of my racquets left so it needs some friends.
What racquets these days would be closest to the 6.0... or are they still producing 6.0's (in 95?) that I could get my hands on?

I used to use the PS 6.0 95 for years. Currently use the Volkl PowerBridge 9. If you still like the PS, I think the Dunlop Bio 200 Lite is a comparable frame. Swings light, great feel and still has decent stability.

They sometimes appear on the classified section here or on stringforum and I've seen them recently on the bay.

Probably worth looking and/or posting a thread in the wanted section.

Great racquets - I still own two.

I have 1 left and it's the best frame I've ever played with. Like you, my eternal hunt for a replacement continues . . . I've tried the Slazenger Pro Braided, Dunlop 200G muscleweave, Went back to the PS Classic style racquets (ncode/kafctor 95's), currently using Pure Storms . . . and not a single one of the damn things comes even close. May have to try the Dunlop someone mentioned earlier, or the new BLX PS 95 but I've heard it's very underpowered compared the the Originals.

Its been ages since I last hit w/an OG PS 95 and I could be way off here, but a BB London with a heavy leather grip and lots of lead around the hoop reminded me of the 95 a bit (though with more flex).

The new PS 6.1 95's didn't feel like the OG at all IMO

Thanks for the suggestion of the BB London. Unfortunately I live where its not easy to demo racquets at a specialist shop or tennis centre. And I don't think it'd be sensible to get a demo frame sent of every suggestion I see from helpful people such as yourself!

    is taht a recommendation???

agree that the prestige is legendary but seems different enuf from the 6.0 95 not to be recommended as a replacement?

    specifically... the 16x18 vs 18x20

The new PS95s are lighter and more flexible than the old 6.095s. Still very much a control racquet and they take customization of adding weight quite well. You might try the 6.1 line which will feel different than the 6.0 but more similar in weight and flex.

It would be worth trying out a Prestige Pro.

"OG" PS 95! Hahahahhahaha good man. Hope I'm not out of line, but I think the Tour 90 frames are closer to the OG PS 95 than the current BLX PS 95.

No, not a recommendation. But I am completelyy superficial & shallow that I love the way a racquet looks. Now my old PS OG 95 looked good & played even better. The new Head Ltd Ed Prestige, I'm sure it plays very nicely, maybe, maybe not in my hands, but I like the look of it, all black, stealthy, Niiiice!!! I am nothing but a magpie chasing the shiny thngs . . . .

Not sure what you're going on about but I was refering to the old ProStaff 6.0 95 in the first sentence.

The second line is saying the new PS 6.1 95 feels very different from the one mentioned above.

Here's what you should try if you like the prostaff 6.0 95

    Wilson Six one 16x18 pattern
    Head Prestige Pro
Dunlop biomimetic F3.0 tour or M3.0 (the head shapes are not that funky oval it's a lot rounder now)
    Donnay Pro One 97 16x19

I was going to suggest a babolat pure storm but they suck they feel hollow compared to the prostaff 6.0 95 which is a solid stick. Also forget about the new prostaff six one 95 from wilson it's not even close to the old one. The old one has a much thicker beam.
