    Hi,

I am getting back into tennis after about a 20-year layoff. I suppose I am an all-court player, and probably would be rated as a 4.0. I am looking for a 98 or 100-inch racquet that offers a good mix of power and control.

I have tried about 15 different racquets, and the Babolat Pure Drive Roddick 2012 is the best I have hit so far. The only minor concern I have is that it may be slightly more powerful than ideal.

I would appreciate any suggestions for racquets that might be good to demo for comparison with the Roddick.

    Thank you,

    Chad

Head IG Radical Pro, Babolat AeroPro Drive (slightly less power than Roddick), Yonex 98d would all be fun rackets to demo for you.

Thinner beams, Prestige Mid+, one of the Biomimtec's from Dunlop, and definitely try a Donnay of some flavor. I tried the Pro One and it was great except I could not find my forehand.

If you like Babolat and think PDR is too much powerful, I think Pure Storm Tour GT might be a good demo. PST has a good balance of power and control.

Second the IG Radical Pro suggestion. Also, I have heard others say the Head Extreme plays somewhat similarly to the Pure Drive.
