haven't seen any talk of the superbowl around here which is pretty surprising. patriots look bad, yet are ahead. giants D looks pretty good, but their offense has had some good luck on their side and still can't come up with TDs. hopefully the rest of the game is better than it has been so far.

by the way, brady does not look 100%. he seems to be having a hard time moving around and planting/pushing off his feet to throw the ball with something on it. hasn't been a down field threat. offensive line hasn't looked great either, which always makes a QB look bad.

Giants have been just doing a great job of putting the pressure on Brady. Like everyone said, any great QBs can look average if they get pressures.

Eli and Co...need to step up in the second half. I feel there will be some scoring in the second half.

yeah, more scoring to come in the 2nd half.

half time show just started... looks like it will be average, we will see.

that drive will probably define manning's career, pretty amazing two bros winning them like that. didn't see anything impressive from the pats... brady had an a tough day. being hurt and not having 8 seconds to throw every pass... but no excuses right?

oh my! what an upset. very enjoyable (not necessarily "great" game) and intense! not a fan of either team, but didn't mind seeing the Pats lose even though it ruined their perfect season. that is horrible!

Well....the fact of matter is that the Giants just outplayed the Pats when it count. I guess all the winning drives Brady did in the past and he ran out of it...finally.

Good for the Giants players, coaches, and fans. Congratulations!!

At the beginning of the game they specifically mentioned that Brady would have trouble with his foot on big passes. What genius decided to have thim throw ALL hail mary's instead of a march up to a field goal? That was very, very stupid and surprising.

    Congrats Giants!

The Giants took it to those Patsies. The defense was incredible and kept the team in the game. In the end, Eli made good throws and kept the drive alive. Great pass to Burress.

The Patriots got shell-shocked by the Giants D. Giants just wanted it more. Congrats Giants!

yeah, not to mention their choice to throw a long ball instead of giving their kicker a chance for a 50 yarder on 4th AND 13! i think that was a VERY questionable call.

I can't remember the last time I was on the edge of my seat watching a Super Bowl from beginning to end.

What an exciting game!! What a defensive battle!!

Someone on TV predicted the score would be 17-14 a few days ago and everyone thought he was crazy for even suggesting that the game would be so low scoring with two great offenses and QB's. Well, look who's looking like genius now.

I'm a lifelong 49er fan. I have never liked the Pats, although at times I have rooted for the G-Men since my aunt lives in NY. Rickson you got egg all over your face TWICE in 2008 (Fed@AO and now this). HAHAHA

The Giants played flawless defense and they deserved to win. It was a close game and it came down to just a few points here and there but you have to hand it to the Giants for there great effort today. The Patriots must feel absolutely devastated right now.

My NY friends were all bandwagon hopping and saying go Giants and all that nonsense. Where the hell were they at the beginning of the season? I'm a true New Yorker and by that I mean I stick to my guns. The Giants won and I'm not happy about it because I picked the Patriots. That's what a real man does, he sticks with his original pick.

I'm more of a player fan than a city fan. I'll root for the Celtics because Garnett is there, but the Celtics with Antoine Walker was not a team I liked. I'm not a football fan in general, but I'll root for the Patriots over the Giants in most years.

Rickson you can't stand the fact you act like a know-it-all and when you get proven wrong you take it like a whiny tree-hugger.

I told my Pats-loving friend this week that I expected this to be a close contest and NYG played the Pats tough in week 17. I felt teams just bent over and played dead vs. the Pats this year, but felt the Giants were going to lay it all out. I was right about that, while my Pats friend thought it would be a 41-17 rout. I am smiling and enjoying YOUR band-wagoning crew being taken out to the woodshed. And you can bet I'm rubbing it in on my friend at work. :)

Tiki got OWNED! He'll be in a cave whining all off-season. Maybe he can un-retire and join the Pats or something, like Seau.
