So I just switched from my APD to the M-Fil 200. Right now I am loving it. I think the APD serves terribly. My serve has increased 10 fold with the M-Fil. My groundstrokes have also gain alot of control. The M-Fil feels alot heavier to swing but this isnt a bad thing. I know the racquets aren't that similar, but does anyone have experience with both, or just one. What do you guys think about them.

I really want to try out the M-fil 200, right now I use a HM 200G (it's older brother) and enjoy hitting with it a lot. What tension did you string your Mfil at btw?

that's a drastic change. i wish i could get used to a heavier racket, but I can't get away from the + results I have with my PD+

It was an easy change for me. I was sailing too many balls long with the APD and I dont sail as many with the M-Fil 200. Plus, I adjust to the racquet, not really the other way around.

i have tried both (i own a babolat apd and my friend has the mfil 200)
I don't like the apd that much, and don't like the mfil so much either...i had the same problem w/ the apd being to hard to volley and serve w/...
I thought it was better on groundstrokes though... But then again i like the solid feel of babolat rackets...my pd standard is the best ever!!!!!!!!
stick w/ what suits your style of game best...

I switched from a Head LM Rad Midplus to the M-fil 200. I like the M-fil so much better. Right away my bh slice and volleys improved. On groundstrokes my old LM feeled flimsy in comparison. It's a great stick, and won't kill your arm either.

eh, it tires out my shoulder alot faster because it is 2 ounces heavier, but I dont mind it. Still and awesome stick.

I love the apd but i will tell you its serve is trouble. Luckily at my height i don't mind because i can create enough power and spin and need this racket to boost my groundstrokes. It's great for me, not for everyone.
