Whenever i string synthetic gut on my crank gamma, it always stretches for a long time and im afraid to keep cranking because the synthetic gut might break. does this every happen to anyone else?

Synthetic gut has more elongation than poly or regular nylon, so it's going to take more cranking to get it to the same tension. I have a drop weight machine, and I always have to anticipate that the weight will travel farther with synthetic gut because of the elongation.

That will depend on the tension. Under normal circumstances, no the string will not break.

As a point of reference, for the first pulls with syn gut (center mains), I use almost all of the crank's travel.

sounds like you may need a marker test. Next time you string, put a small mark on the string ahead of, or behind, the clamp. if the mark starts moving as you pull tension, you need to adjust/clean your clamps.
