Does anyone here use synthetic gut strings? I posted a poll earlier on what people's favorite strings were and it was by far the least voted upon. I was just interested in using this as a cross string for a Luxilon ALU Power mains hybrid setup.

What is the best kind of synthetic gut? Is it a good choice?

i like OG micro. cheap, durable, not too soft, not too crisp...right in the middle.

PSG Original is very soft and is great for crosses.

While I use polys for my top racquets (Prestiges and nSix-Ones), I too use Gosen OG Micro for my other racquets. In fact, I just ordered a reel of it.

Did you say cheap? It is a bargain - you can search for the debates on reel vs individual packages, but I use the generic reel...
