I've been using Gamma Supreme overgrip in white for a good while now. Starts tacky and stays tacky...maybe just a tad thick. The main problem I have with it is the fact that when I take it off my racquet it leaves a lot of white 'residue' on my handle. So much that the handles of my last two racquets are completely white (they were originally black).

I recently purchased (from T-W of course) a pair of Volkl Organix V1 racquets and decided to go with the Gamma Supreme Overgrip in black because I don't want the new racquets to end up with white handles.

Unfortunately the black Supreme is nothing like the white Supreme. Isn't very tacky, seems a lot thinner, and has a slightly more 'plastic' feel to it. It does however still leave the 'residue' on the racquet handle (this time obviously black) when you remove the overgrip.

All that leads me to this question: Is there another super tacky overgrip on the market that starts tacky, stays tacky, and doesn't leave behind a mess when you take it off?

    Thanks.

Try Mantis Performa Tac (0,50 mm) or Pacific X Tack Pro (0,55 mm). In my opinion they have about the same character as Gamma Supreme, only slightly thinner. The Gamma might be a tad more durable though.
