What are your opinions on the string? What would be a nice hybrid with Black Code in the mains?

Its an okay string, I would do Prince Premier or Babolat VS in the crosses with this.

Anyone know a good tension that still keeps it comfortable?

black code is an excellent string, very soft, with lots of spin and power. I strung my black code a little on the looser side. Note the first hour or so you play with it it may seem very loose or powerful, but once it breaks it its amazing.

i rmb stringing it for someone around 45 with 55 in the crosses(babolat addiction) and he loved it, although he did request to go up 2 pounds in the mains and go down 3 pounds in the crosses,

I string mine at 57lbs, still comfortable at that tension (but I do hybrid with a multi in the crosses).

Tension is a relatively subjective thing. Whats comfortable for some, is terrible for others. In my experience with 17g Black Code, it plays well at around 57 lbs.

I think I'll start at 57 mains and I'm putting stamina in the crosses. What tension is good for the crosses. 59?

Personally, I did not like Black Code. It didn't have a lot of feel for me (relative to other polys) and the spin was just average. Other folks seem to like it. Perhaps it's a Tecnifibre poly thing (I didn't like Red Code either).
