Does anyone know what happened to Technifibre Multifeel? It doesnt seem like Tenniswarehouse.com is still carrying it. I love that string. Please let me know if perhaps it has been discontinued or replaced?

    Thanks!

TW will remove something from the website when they're out of stock and put it back up when it comes in. In the case of Multifeel, it used to be a very nice multi for comfort, crispness, playability, and spin. About 3 years ago, Tecnifibre changed it drastically, keeping the same name of the string. I, for one was very disappointed. They made it a lot stiffer. I wouldn't be surprised if TW is dropping it due to lack of demand.

The original version was really good. I'm not sure why they changed the formula but I agree with everything Muppet said.

I like it still, I think it's a good string... but Prince Premiere Attack is better. Though I'm sure they're discontinuing that one too...

Isn't it obvious? If they hadn't changed the formula they could only have named it Tecnifibre feel. Or single feel.

When the new versions came out, I tried both the 16 and 17. The 16 felt way too stiff. The 17 was decent, just not as soft and playable as it used to be.

Hmmm...I was planning to have Multifeel be the next multi I try out in the future but from what people are saying here, it sounds like I shouldn't?

Is the string still a nice string to try for the price? Just not as good compared to the old Multifeel? Using Hexy Fiber 17 right now which I'm enjoying so far.

If Hexy Fiber 17 is working for you, stick with it over Multifeel. If they were the same price, I'd say try both.

Still trying out strings and multifeel is about $2.50 more at my local shop which isn't too bad.

    Thanks for the advice!

Several years ago I played wonderful matches with Multifeel@24kg set up on a PDGT… Then I bought new set of Multifeel and the magic was gone… Now I understand that that may have to do with a different string, same branding.

Then I bought the XR1 which is the successor of the MF… A great string but not the same magic as the Multifeel…

I am working on soft copoly's now… much cheaper than multi filaments!

Used this while in America cause it was a cheap hybrid for me, played very well, I'd say it played alot better than Sensation, snapped with about 3 days of use though as I was playing at least 8 hours a day

That's not cool. Mikeler will see to it that order is restored.
