There's 200m(660ft) reel of Pro Redcode on the big auction site for 75$us. Is this a great deal? Is there any chance of it being fake?

Most likely, the seller has to ship it across the Atlantic or Pacific so take the shipping cost into account. Keep in mind too that it will be available at TW in a couple of weeks.

Has anyone else played w/ this string? I have borrowed the racquet of one of the europian kids at my camp and he has it strung with this.

I have played the string and while it is a good string, I don't think it is anything better than the available co-polys unless you have to have red string. If I played with prestiges or tecnifibre frames, i might consider using it since it looks good in those...but ALU and cyber flash and sppp are all in the same ballpark.

Tecnifibre Pro Redcode feels differently to me than Luxilon Alu Power. I find Pro Redcode to have a more "linear" feel, where Alu Power is stiff on gentle shots, and trampolines on heavy shots.
