What familiar racquet grip shape is the Tecnifibre grip similar to?
I demoed a newer tecnifibre and found it feels like a cross between head and wilson. I think I read that older tecnifibres were more like head grip shapes.
its like my Wilson, and the factory grip is way to tacky on the tecnifibre
so a newer 4 3/8 TF ( TFight 320, 335) would be about the same as a 4 3/8 wilson?
yea almost exactley i just got a 335 and it feels like my slazenger which feels like my Wilson
OK, thanks a lot. I've been wondering what the grip shape is like on the TFight 320.
should be identical it is a 335 but not as heavy
by the way i can not give the racket enough praise i love it
the tfight 320 seems really interesting because of its 11.7 ounce weight but its low 307 swingweight.
i dint try it i tried the 335 and liked it so much i found no reason to try the lighter one
the older ones i have held in my hand (325, etc) were pretty much exactly like head's. not sure if they changed it, but its doubtful.
in 2006 the tecnifibre grips changed from head-like to wilson-like.
The Tfight 305 I hit with in a comparative review in 2006 (which was a 2005 model I guess) felt like it had a Volkl sort of grip shape--sort of square but not too much like a LM Prestige grip, which I could not stand.
I think the TF 320/335 grips are equivalent to Dunlop grips...same mold...
the old frames (325, etc) were indeed rectangular like head.
you are right.
